Marina Savova 

Piano

Marina Savova is an established pianist who has participated in many competitions, concerts and festivals in Europe. She was born in Varna, Bulgaria and she studied at the National Music Academy Pancho Vlagiderov in Sofia. In 2000 she was accepted with scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music in London where she completed her Postgraduate Studies in Piano
and Piano Accompaniment with Geoffrey Prattley. Marina has been the recipient of many prizes including Winner of the International competition for Young Composers (10 years old), Winner of the National Contemporary Music Competition 1996, Winner of National Competition for Accompanist 1996, Winner of the National Competition for the best performance of Slavic Music 1997. Marina has performed as a soloist with Varna Philharmonic Orchestra and she has made recordings for the Bulgarian National Television and Radio and Radio Classic FM.

    Niels Dittmann

    Oboe

    Niels Dittmann was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He studied oboe and piano at the Royal Danish Conservatory in the class of solo oboist Björn Carl Nielsen and chamber music with Ole Henrik Dahl. During his studies he won the Queen Ingrid Scholarship to study in the USA, as well as the Rome Scholarship to study with professor and solo oboist Luca Vignali of the Orchestra de Teatro dell'Opera in Rome. In 2003-2004, Niels won a place in the soloist class of François Lelleau. In 2006 he was a finalist at the prestigious Sony Music Foundation oboe competition in Karuizawa, Japan. Niels Dittmann is one of the founders of the Carion Woodwind Quintet, which has won awards at numerous competitions and with whom he has performed and recorded throughout Europe. He is currently solo oboist as well as English horn soloist in the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

      Alexander Lenkov

      Bassoon

      Alexander Lenkov has been the solo bassoonist of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra since 2004. He has played under the baton of conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Raphael Frübeck de Burghs, Kees Bakels, Vladimir Ashkenazi and Agee Owe and soloists such as Joshua Bell, Sumi Jo, Jean-Yves Thibodeau, Janine Jensen and many others. Alexander Lenkov completed his education at the prestigious universities in Weimar and Cologne under Professor Georgi Klyuch. He toured with the Cologne Chamber Orchestra in Germany and Europe. Alexander is also a bassoon teacher in Malaysia as well as an active participant in chamber ensembles.
